  1. Where in your life is it easy to justify partial obedience, doing what God says until it no longer seems good in your eyes?

  2. The Lord gave Saul three gifts that enabled him to please the Lord. In what ways do we, as Christians, have the same gifts, but in far greater measure?

  3. Why is being busy with all sorts of Christian activities not the same thing as pleasing the Lord?

  4. Is there an area of your life where listening to God’s voice and doing what he says feels impossible? How should we respond?

  5. How has the fear of man turned you away from pleasing God in the past? What practical strategies help you to ensure God’s voice is the loudest voice in your head?
