Sunday morning

For more than two-thousand years, Christian churches have gathered for worship on Sunday mornings. We follow in their footsteps, not because it is traditional, but because our identity as followers of Christ is corporate. Jesus has made us a people through the power of his life, death, and resurrection, so that we could proclaim his excellencies together.

While the individual elements of our service vary a bit from week-to-week, our goal remains the same: Sunday is all about glorifying God and edifying one another by remembering and responding to the gospel. We believe the content and the structure of our gatherings must be shaped by who Jesus is and what he’s done for us.

That means our worship is both planned – reflecting the historic liturgies of the Christian faith, and spontaneous – influenced by the present guidance of the Holy Spirit. Scripture readings, preaching, singing, fellowship, prayer, giving, sacraments, and serving one another in a multitude of ways play a central role in our gatherings.

What to Expect

We have a single service, which starts at 10:00am and wraps up around 11:45. When you reach the entrance of our main facility, you’ll find ample parking and a host team who will welcome you into our sanctuary and answer any questions you may have.

If you’re bringing kids age 11 and under, be sure to arrive a few minutes early to check them into our children’s ministry wing, located off the main foyer. Infants through age 4 typically remain in King’sKids for the entire morning, while 5 to 11 year-olds are dismissed about halfway through the main service.

Most of our folks hang out for a while afterward, especially when we have a church-wide lunch. We would love for you to linger so that we can get to know you and your family.
