  1. How did you think about God’s judgment before you became a Christian? How do you think about it now?

  2. What characteristic of God’s judgment in Deuteronomy 28 most sobers you?

  3. What makes God’s judgment exceedingly good? In what sense is it our only hope for the future?

  4. Where are you tempted to settle for begrudging obedience as opposed to serving the Lord with joy and gladness? Would you describe your general attitude toward the Lord as one of trembling awe?

  5. R.C. Sproul once said, “The One from whom we need to be saved is the very One who saves us.” How can meditating on the wrath of God increase our gratitude for the gospel?
