  1. Is it hard to believe sin is your greatest enemy? Where have you experienced the “wages of death” in your life (Romans 6:23)?

  2. What temptation to sin is seeking to rule you right now? What would it look like to uproot that sin instead of allowing it to sear your conscience?

  3. How is turning from sin in response to the gospel of grace different from turning from sin simply because it’s wrong? 

  4. How should we expect the Holy Spirit to manifest his presence in our battle with sin? What will his help practically look like?
