DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
How does Hannah’s Godward response to suffering challenge you to respond to suffering in your own life?
God’s tendency is to make our total inability his starting point. How have you seen God delight to use your utter incapacity to display His grace?
If you are united to Christ by faith, how does knowing Jesus is interceding for you affect your heart’s posture in prayer as you cry out to the Lord?
What would it look like to make “pouring out our hearts before Him” a way of life? See Psalm 62:8. What habits would we employ? What habits would we abandon?
What does the Lord use to remind you that in sending His Son, He has remembered you beyond your wildest imagination? See Isaiah 49:16. How should remembering His love cause us to respond?
