  1. How does confidence in God’s justice and amazement at his mercy free us to follow the Lord of Life in upholding life?

  2. Do you think of upholding the poor as a ministry opportunity for wealthy Christians or a holy responsibility for every Christian? How are you practically doing that right now? 

  3. All the references to offspring in Deut. 24 & 25 remind us that the preservation and growth of God’s people is really important! Where is the Lord giving you opportunities to uphold the life of the church by making disciples of Jesus?

  4. How can you practically uphold life at work? Are there specific ways you can model Christ’s compassion instead of insisting people pay what they owe?
