  1. What does it mean to covet? Is wanting something other than God a violation of the tenth commandment?

  2. By global standards we are fantastically wealthy. How is a feeling of contentment different from Christian contentment?

  3. What does it mean to be content with all God is for us in Jesus? What does the presence of anxiety say about our satisfaction in Christ? See Psalm 73:26.

  4. Do you have “affections” for Jesus? Would you even use that word? Why or why not? If you do, what has the Spirit used to nurture and sustain them?

  5. If you were to put a microphone to your heart, which desire tends to speak loudest?

  6. What do the prayer requests you typically share in Community Group say about what you love most?
