  1. Why is it important that we share testimonies of God’s activity in our lives with our friends, Community Group, and the church? How did Jeff’s testimony from this past Sunday affect you?

  2. As Christians, why can we have confidence that God loves us and will continue to use us to love others and to proclaim his glorious name, despite previous and current sins in our lives? Does this mean that sin is not serious? Explain.

  3. In what ways is the Christian life costly to you? (See Mark 8:34.)

  4. Why is pursuing reconciliation / restoration between brothers and sisters in the church essential?

  5. Why is Christian community crucial to our spiritual well-being? How should we respond when we are in a season of spiritual isolation?

  6. How often do you pray for our church… for the different members, ministries, leaders, challenges, finances, etc? How will consistent prayer for the church affect your participation in, and love for, the church?
