  1.  How does Micah 2:1-2 demonstrate that oppression is a “worship issue”?

  2.   Have you ever been “oppressed” by someone (in words or deeds)? What do you think were the motives behind their words or deeds?

  3. Have you ever “oppressed” someone by your words or deeds and what do you think were your heart motives?

  4. How easy (or hard) is it for you to trust God to vindicate you when sinned against, rather than to avenge yourself?

  5. Do you think of God primarily as merciful or as just? Explain.

  6. Name some areas where you’ve experienced God’s mercy in your life?

  7. Jesus is our warrior King who, according to verse 13 “goes up before us.” How does this truth impact the way we fight stubborn sin in our lives?
