  1. What expression of present obedience is challenging for you? Where does your heart cry out, “Are we there yet? How long, O Lord?”

  2. What promise of future grace in Mic 4:1-8 most encourages you?

  3. Where are you tempted to look to your work or someone else’s work instead of the Lord to bring future blessing to pass? Is the fact that God has made a promise enough for you?

  4. What robs your joy in the present? How does the answer to that question reveal the true source your hope for the future?

  5. Have you experienced the redemptive end of the Lord’s discipline in your life? Where do you need to believe the restoring grace of God is just as real as the sorrow of sin?
