DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
Matthew said, "What you believe about Jesus matters more than all other questions." Jesus asked as much of the disciples in Matthew 16:13. What do you believe about Jesus? How is this visibly reflected in the way you live?
Have you fallen prey to debating people in secondary issues when discussing the gospel? How is it helpful to remain focused on what we're for rather than against? How can we keep conversations focused on Jesus?
Barnabas was known as a "good man full of the Holy Spirit and faith" who could see God's work, rejoice in God's work, and exhort others. Of these three attributes, which do you excel in? Which do you struggle with?
Barnabas sought out Saul to join his mission. Who do you know as a trusted friend you rely on to join your mission for good works and pursuit of godliness? How can you be that friend for someone else?
We can often look at fellow believers and fail to see them as “God’s workmanship” (Ephesians 2:10). How can the guidance of Colossians 3:12-17 help us to recalibrate our spiritual sight to see God's grace in others?
