  1. Where is it easy for you to grasp for your own kingdom? 

  2. What would it look like to wait for a sovereign King in that area of your life? Where are you tempted (like David and Jesus) to take a shortcut and bring God’s kingdom to pass in your own way? 

  3. How does hoping in a just King rescue us from emotionally holding people who hurt us at arm’s length? How do the cross and the empty tomb stand as monuments to the reliability of God’s justice?

  4. How does Jesus righteously repay our evil with good? Do you struggle to believe he will do that for you?
