DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
Chris posed two questions that every individual must wrestle with: Can God be trusted?, and, Is God acting for your good? Discuss these questions and the temptations we face to trust God or believe he is working for our good.
What does it mean to meditate on God’s Word, and what is the benefit of doing so? How can we add this practice more easily into our day-to-day life? How do we strengthen our personal study and application of the Word of God?
What are the mighty works God has accomplished in your life? Share those mighty works of God.
What is the purpose of God’s Word and Law? How do we avoid the “dangerous deception” of hearing the Word but not doing the Word?
What promises of God do you need to be reminded of in your present season of life, considering your future hopes and fears?
