  1. Moses encourages Israel in light of the abounding grace of God for holiness (Deut. 10:12). Why should we see God’s grace as empowering rather than license to do what we want?

  2. Discuss as a group the importance of obeying because of grace rather than obeying to receive grace.

  3. How does God’s unmerited choice to love you inform your assurance of salvation and your pursuit of godliness?

  4. What comfort do the power, goodness, and election of God give you in your current season of life?

  5. In light of the Holy Spirit writing the law of God on our hearts (Jer. 31:33-34), how can we apply the command of Deuteronomy 10:16 and set our lives apart to God?
