  1. Do you struggle to embrace God’s Word as “statutes and rules”? Why or why not?

  2. What makes our decision to “keep them and do them” a matter of life and death? Where have you experienced as much in your own life?

  3. Where are you tempted to add or take away from God’s Word to preserve your own rule?

  4. How is God’s Word a revelation of grace? What difference should it make in your life that God has chosen to make himself known through words?

  5. How are you doing in regards to teaching God’s Word to your children and grandchildren? Is the spiritual rhythm in Deuteronomy 4:10 (gather, hear, fear, live, teach) your rhythm? Where do you need to grow?
