According to Malachi 1:6, what is the greatest injustice of mankind? How should we respond to this truth? (See also Rev. 4:8.)
What is the significance of the name of the LORD your God? Why should we not take his name in vain?
Which of the examples that Matthew mentioned about profaning God’s name is most convicting to you?
How do we malign God’s character when we allow unbelief to rule our hearts?
Why did David say in Ps. 51:4, “Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight”? What does this say about our sins, and about our necessary response?
One of the ways we honor God’s name is by living in obedience to Him and His Word. How is our obedience our own responsibility, even while it is only possible because of the gospel of Jesus Christ?
