Sunday Review: 6/19/2022

On Sunday, June 19, 2022, Chris Deloglos preached the message “Once Enemies, Now Reconciled” from Colossians 1:21-23. To listen to this message again, click here. Please see below for discussion questions for this past Sunday’s message.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:

  1. Colossians 1:21-23 speaks of our life before Christ and our life now in Christ. What thoughts of gratitude or love toward God do these verses provoke you to consider?

  2. What specific scriptures, gospel truths, or spiritual disciplines help you most to trust Christ in your daily life, especially when you feel like quitting?

  3. Colossians 1:23 reminds us to “remain stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel”. What tends to threaten you to “shift” from trusting fully in the gospel? How can we recognize it when our hope begins to “shift”, and what should we do when we recognize this “shift”?

  4. Describe how you specifically help your own heart to remember, trust in, meditate upon, and rejoice in the incredible love of God for you.
