DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
What does it mean to be obediently submissive to rulers and authorities? Where is this most difficult for you? What hope does the person and work of Christ provide?
Do you head into a new day aware that God has prepared good work for you (Eph 2:10)? Where can you grow in your ability to perceive and participate in them?
How does God’s grace empower us to not speak evil of others? Share an opportunity the Lord gave you recently to “give grace” (Eph 4:29) to someone who felt like an enemy.
In what relationship do you most struggle to follow Jesus in laying down your rights for the sake of peace instead of insisting on your rights? Where do you need to grow in being quick to overlook, quick to forgive, and eager to work for reconciliation?
A considerate person has a singular focus: how can my words and actions do spiritual good to everyone around me? Describe a relationship where you need God’s grace to make you less aware of yourself and more aware of others.
