Sunday Review: 5/8/2022
On Sunday, May 8, 2022, Quinton Cools preached the message “Our Shepherding Savior” from Micah 7:8-20, concluding our series A God of Justice + Mercy. To listen to this message again, click here. Please see below for discussion questions for this Sunday’s message.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
When someone sins against you, do you see their sin as personal against God (Ps 51:4) or personal against you? How is the (real) answer to that question revealed in your actions and attitudes?
When you see sin in your own life, how readily do you humbly confess those sins to God? How readily do you also confess those sins to others (spouse, friend, pastor)? Why does God call us to do both?
Why, according to verse 9, do you and I not have to bear the indignation of the LORD anymore, even though we continue to sin against Him?
We see in verse 14 that God is the Shepherd of His people. In what ways do you regularly experience the Father’s shepherding care in your life?
The call to worship this past Sunday was from Ps. 113 which is titled “Who is like the LORD our God?” How does Micah 7:18-20 answer that question?
