Mark your calendar for a church-wide picnic after the service on Sunday May 19 to celebrate and honor YOU, the KingsWay servants who faithfully serve the body on Sunday mornings, running sound, leading us in song, teaching our children, receiving our offering, feeding us, and much more. We will eat lunch and play yard games together. Bring drinks and lawn chairs for you and your family; lunch will be provided. If you are not yet serving on a team, you will have the opportunity to explore teams that could benefit from your giftings. Plan to stay and spend the afternoon with your church family until 2:00 or 2:30 p.m. that day.

Caleb Collins will teach a 5th session of the adult Sunday class “The Church Triumphant: The Nicene Creed” on Sunday May 5 from 8:30-9:45 a.m. before the service, by popular demand! Come for some Q&A based on the previous sessions of the class.

KingsWay will host a membership class beginning Sunday April 7 for those interested in exploring membership at KingsWay or learning more about the church. This is a 5-session class held on 5 consecutive Sundays from 12:30-2:00 p.m. You will learn KingsWay’s story, shared values, vision, mission, and structure.
Gather with your church family this Good Friday to remember Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross and to anticipate the celebration of his resurrection on Sunday.
Sign up here if you plan to attend KingsWay’s young adults event on Sunday March 17 from 6-9 p.m., so we can cook enough food! We will enjoy a fun night of fellowship and games, a St. Patty’s-day-inspired dinner, worship, and a teaching from God’s Word. These young adult gatherings celebrate and lean into the gifts of life-on-life discipleship and biblical community.
On Sunday March 24, KingsWay will enjoy Great Commission Sunday, our annual Sunday focused on missions! The Lord has called all of His followers to live on mission and go share the gospel, whether internationally or right here in Midlothian.

Our next monthly prayer meeting is scheduled for Sunday March 3 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. At each meeting, we pray for the scheduled topic plus the personal prayer requests of those in attendance.
Why does gender exist? Is there a divine purpose behind our sexuality or is it a choose your own adventure? Where our culture is confused, God’s Word provides clarity. Join us as we explore the meaning of sex, what it means to live as a man or woman, and how to think about gender dysphoria. “Gender & Sexuality: The Goodness of God’s Design” will begin Sunday February 18 and meet on six consecutive Sunday mornings from 8:30-9:45 a.m. Matthew Williams will teach the class and Josh Blount, pastor at our sister Sovereign Grace church in West Virginia, will join him to co-teach the final session on Sunday March 24.

Our first prayer meeting of the year will take place on Sunday February 4 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Seminar Room.
KingsWay is running a baby bottle campaign to benefit the Pregnancy Resource Center of Metro Richmond in recognition of Sanctity of Life Sunday 2024. Place checks, cash, and coins into your bottle and bring it back to church on Sunday February 25. Moms and dads like those in this video benefit from the PRC’s supportive, life-affirming, biblical counsel as they face unexpected pregnancies. If you did not pick up a bottle last Sunday, there are still some available in the foyer for you to take home.
Our Sovereign Grace denomination is hosting a national conference for young adults next January, and KingsWay is getting a group together to attend it! Express potential interest here.
Save the date of Saturday December 30 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. for a special Send-Off Reception for Josh Kruger Jr., Lieze, and their boys. We will share fellowship, food, and a time of prayer together with the Krugers as they prepare to return to Namibia in early January to plant a new Sovereign Grace church there to the glory of God.
This year we will celebrate Christmas Eve at our usual 10 a.m. time on Sunday December 24. There will be no evening service that day and no service on Monday December 25.
On Sunday December 17, we will have the distinct privilege of participating in the ordination of Caleb Collins, Quinton Cools, and Josh Kruger Jr. during the service. Plan to remain for a short while after the service that day to congratulate Caleb, Quin, and Josh and enjoy coffee and danishes to celebrate this important occasion of the Lord’s blessing.
The women of KingsWay will have the opportunity to worship Christ the newborn King and enjoy one another’s company together this year at a “Christmas Breakfast Between Sisters” on Saturday December 16 from 9:00-11:30 a.m. Save the date! More details to come.

Our annual tradition of publicly recounting the Lord’s blessings together at Thanksgiving is coming up! On Sunday November 19, in lieu of a regular worship service, but at our usual time, we will sing praises of thanksgiving to the Lord together, and we will share with one another how we have seen the Lord at work this year and what we are thankful to Him for. Plan to stay after the service on that day to share a Thanksgiving potluck meal together, too.

This Sunday November 12 we have the privilege of welcoming 10 new members into our body at KingsWay!
We are updating our online member directory for the start of the new year and will be taking member photos on three Sundays in November. Come early (9-10 a.m.) or stay late (12-1 p.m.) on your assigned date to have your photo taken. If you are a member and your last name begins with A-E, please come for your photo on Sunday Nov 5. If your last name begins with F-Q, on Sunday Nov 12, and if R-Z, on Sunday Nov 26.
What do you do when you discover the good news that God wants you to be content in him, but then find that you aren’t? Our final adult Sunday class for this fall, “When I Don’t Desire God”, will dig deep into this question beginning Sunday October 29 at 8:30 a.m. Taught by Josh Kruger Sr., the class will also meet Nov 5 and Nov 12.
On Sunday October 22, our partners at Casa de Esperanza in Bolivia will visit and host a feedback session after the service to share more about their ministry. Plan to meet in the seminar room that day to connect with them.
