Martin Luther wrote, “To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing.”  Praying is the great privilege of Christian life.  And the blessing of praying individually is even more pronounced as we pray together.  Jesus promised, “Where two or three come together in My Name, there am I with them.”

On Saturday, January 10, we’ll gather to begin the new year with our third annual Day of Prayer.  During the past two years, we’ve experienced God’s presence in remarkable ways as we’ve prayed together throughout the day, and wonderful answers to prayer throughout the year.

This year, we’re going to add focused prayer topics throughout the week leading up to the Day of Prayer beginning next Sunday, January 4.  We’ll be considering the Prayer of Prayers in Luke 11:1-5 during the message and then breaking the prayer down into six emphases to pray at home, as families, and as community groups during the week to prepare our hearts for the Day of Prayer.

This year we will cap off the Day of Prayer in our Sunday morning meeting on January 11 instead of Saturday night to enable the whole church to participate in the overflow of blessing after we’ve prayed together.

Let’s anticipate God’s blessing on this special day.  Please let us know when you’ll be coming by registering here.   Thanks in advance for joining us!
