Hola mis Hermanos y Hermanas,

We have been so blessed seeing how God is working both in the orphanage in Caranavi and at Suti Sana in El Alto. Our time in Caranavi teaching sewing to the Tia’s and the kids was amazing.

I had about 30 students and much was accomplished for the time there. There was such enthusiasm and excitement for what they can repair and make with the machines. Brad and I had a meaningful time of fellowship with Fidel, Charo and family.  Also we spent some extended time with Lily from the Sovereign Grace church in Minnesota and Caleb from the Sovereign Grace church in Kansas City.  Both are amazing servants.  There are so many wonderful stories of God’s grace and work here that we will love to share with you!

Returning to El Alto on Sunday , we began the next day at Suti Sana.  Wow, a lot is going on here as well! Wellspring ministries, part of Ravi Zacharias ministries that provides financial support for organizations serving women and children at risk, is making a film about Suti Sana.

Brad began refurbishing the storeroom, which included searching the streets in El Alto searching for wood and hardware, plus working through the language barrier. He was a real trooper since nothing goes as expected here. He is down to the wire on time to finish.

We had the dinner and devotional time with the staff and ladies from the workshop. It was a blessed time of fellowship and a good time of prayer. They so appreciated the love expressed from you all through the meal. Thank you!  Immediately after the meal, I was reminded of the blessing this ministry is. Andrea and I went for a visit to the brothels searching for a woman that they had made contact with the night before. She had expressed a desire to leave but hadn’t made the commitment. As I walked through the doors, I was reminded of the unbelievable darkness of this world and the love of God to save and set the captives free. The story of this woman is still unfolding, but God has reached out using the willing servants at Suti Sana. The smiles expressing joy from the ladies here in the shop is a testimony to this.

Brad returns tomorrow but there is still a lot to do today for him and the next two weeks for me.  We would appreciate prayer for success in what God has for us, protection and spiritual strength.  We thank God for you , our church family.
