To our dear KingsWay family,

We cannot thank you enough for all of your love and prayers for us as we are in Bolivia! We have seen God at work in many ways!

We had the joy of honoring the pastor’s wives at a tea on Sunday night. These women live very hard lives and were overwhelmed by the food we brought them, the gifts we gave and the encouragement we brought. There was much laughter and tears. They have seen God answer some of the prayers from the tea already, and send deep thanks to you for sending us.

Monday morning we spoke at a chapel at their Christian school.  It was a last minute event, so we had only a little time to prepare, but God was faithful and gave us a short message to share about the fear of the Lord. It turned out this was the last chapel of the year and that we would be speaking to graduating seniors. We were humbled by the great opportunity to challenge these teens in their relationship with the Lord!

Monday night was the first night of an area-wide ladies conference with over 125 women in attendance. As a result of your generous giving, we were able to rent two buses to transport women from one of the poorest areas of LaPaz.  Liz spoke about the greatness of God’s love toward us and Maria shared how God had taught her about that great love. Many women came up to receive prayer at the end, and three asked to pray for salvation. God is so good!

The conference will conclude tonight with Liz & Tammy sharing.  The rest of our week we’ll be ministering at a women’s jail, serving ladies at a home for battered women, and meeting with several pastors wives. We are grateful for all of these opportunities!

Thank you so much for your love and prayers. Please continue to pray for us!!

With lots of love,

Maria, Tammy & Liz
