Last Sunday, you heard Chris share about a special upcoming event to be held right here at KingsWay Community Church. During that announcement, we heard the following words from Chris Tomlin, Christian speaker and recording artist, as part of an invitational video.

“If you’re like me, you’ve been thinking, and talking, and praying a lot for the future of our country. At times, it feels like we just don’t know what to do or say. Well, over the past few months, I’ve been thinking more and more about one thing: the church should be about prayer.”

These are sentiments that many of us surely identify with. However, it can be difficult to know how to channel this realization of our nation’s deep need for prayer. That is why Tomlin and a team of other pastors and worship leaders have joined together to create a multimedia event to be shared at churches and theaters around the country in order to bring us together to worship the God who governs and pray for the leaders of the United States, our earthly home.

To that end, Midlothian families are invited to attend the one-night only Worship Night in America on October 25th at 7:00 pm. The event will be projected directly to KingsWay’s auditorium from the sold-out Madison Square Gardens venue. With an impressive line-up of worship leaders and speakers such as Chris Tomlin, Max Lucado, Matt Redman, Louie Giglio, Kim Walker-Smith, Phil Wickham, Matt Maher, and others, the evening is sure to encourage and equip you to bring the needs of our community and country to the foot of the cross as we pray for help and guidance as a people, and that the God will ultimately be glorified in the plans that he has for us.

This is a ticketed event that is open to all in the area. To purchase your tickets online, click here. If you have any questions, please contact our church office at We so hope that you, your family, and your friends will be able to join us for this powerful night!
