We’re hosting our annual Thanksgiving potluck dinner immediately after the Sunday meeting on November 23.

If you’ve only been visiting Kingsway for a few weeks, this is a great opportunity to meet people and enjoy the gift of community. There’s no need to sign-up in advance. Simply come hungry and bring a generous amount of seasonal food to share.

We will also take time during our Sunday meeting to individually thank God for his many blessings. Be ready to share how God has cared and provided for you over the last year. No matter how difficult our circumstances, Jesus gives every one of a reason to give thanks to the Lord.

“I have told the glad news of deliverance in the great congregation; behold, I have not restrained my lips, as you know, O Lord. I have not hidden your deliverance within my heart; I have spoken of your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not concealed your steadfast love and your faithfulness from the great congregation.” (Psalm 40:9-10)

Matthew Williams grew up attending KingsWay and joined the pastoral staff in 2009. God has blessed him and his wife, Aliza, with three rambunctious boys, Ethan, Micah, and Tyler. Matthew did his undergraduate work at the University of Richmond in chemistry and political science, spent a year at the Sovereign Grace Pastor’s College, and is nearly finished with his Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
