We began our gathering by singing Lead Me to the Cross and From the Inside Out

We listened to Jeremy Howard and the other vocalists read three scriptures about the greatness of God (1 Chr 29:11Ps 150:2Eph 1:19-23)

We learned a new song, Great Are You Lord, and Will Hagen shared a prophetic word from Luke 14:16-23

We sang It is Well, and recited the answers to the first two questions of the Heidelberg Catechism

We welcomed our guests and received the offering

Jody Dingwell explained the vision of the Christmas Boxes Project (look for more information on the blog this week)

Liz Emerson read Isa 60

Gene preached a sermon entitled “Arise and Shine” from Isa 60

We sang O Church Arise and Josh Kruger gave the benediction

Matthew Williams grew up attending KingsWay and joined the pastoral staff in 2009. God has blessed him and his wife, Aliza, with three rambunctious boys, Ethan, Micah, and Tyler. Matthew did his undergraduate work at the University of Richmond in chemistry and political science, spent a year at the Sovereign Grace Pastor’s College, and is nearly finished with his Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
