We began this morning by praying for God’s blessing on our gathering

We sang How Great Thou ArtNot in Me, and Psalm 62

We sang Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus and listened to the words of Hebrews 1:1-12

Craig Smith encouraged us to participate in the Food Pantry Christmas Boxes Project (read his remarks here)

Brian McPeters welcomed our guests and Bob Shanks read Isaiah 63-64

We prayed for the Philippines, men and women in the armed forces, and our newly elected state officials

Gene preaches a sermon entitled, “Rend the Heavens!”

We prayed in small groups for God to have mercy on us as individuals and as a church

Chris Deloglos gave the benediction

Matthew Williams grew up attending KingsWay and joined the pastoral staff in 2009. God has blessed him and his wife, Aliza, with three rambunctious boys, Ethan, Micah, and Tyler. Matthew did his undergraduate work at the University of Richmond in chemistry and political science, spent a year at the Sovereign Grace Pastor’s College, and is nearly finished with his Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
