Here’s a quick review of our gathering last Sunday for those who were unable to attend or serving in King’sKids. Questions for Community Group discussion this week are also available below.

I called us to worship by reading Psalm 27:4

We sang Glorious and Mighty

We confessed our sins through a responsive reading of Psalm 25

We sang Nothing But the Blood and Jesus, Firm Foundation

Bob read 1 Peter 3:17-22

After the pastoral prayer, Gene preached a sermon entitled, “Remember Jesus,” from 1 Peter 3:17-22

We shared communion and then sang Man of Sorrows as we gave an offering to support the ministry of the gospel in our church

Gene gave a benediction

Matthew Williams grew up attending KingsWay and joined the pastoral staff in 2009. God has blessed him and his wife, Aliza, with three rambunctious boys, Ethan, Micah, and Tyler. Matthew did his undergraduate work at the University of Richmond in chemistry and political science, spent a year at the Sovereign Grace Pastor’s College, and is nearly finished with his Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
