On Sunday, June 9, 2019, Josh Kruger preached the message, “The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked”. Click here to access a PDF of projection from the message. See below for a few discussion questions for Community Group or personal study this week. To listen to other messages from this series, visit our Audio Resources page.

Discussion Question:

  1. How does Psalm 1 function as a gateway to the other Psalms?
  2. Why do Christians delight in God’s word? How does an understanding of the natural chasm between God and man lend itself to treasuring scripture all the more?
  3. How does God reveal Himself through His word? What is the difference between reading God’s word and actually understanding His word? How does the Holy Spirit help with this?
  4. How are we to establish if we are among the “righteous” or among the “wicked” as described here in this passage?
  5. If you are a Christian, would you say that you have a growing delight in God’s word? Explain your answer. What does it look like to Biblically meditate on scripture? What are practical things that can be done to grow in this area?
