Here’s a quick review of our meeting last Sunday, including questions for Community Groups to discuss this week in response to Gene’s sermon.

We sang Come Praise and Glorify

Matthew read Isaiah 59:1-3, 12-20

We sang a new song, His Be the Victor’s Name

Kevin & Mavis Khoffie read Psalm 32

We sang The Father’s Love and Sovereign

Josh Kruger prayed for people in our congregation who are experiencing severe suffering and for the Sovereign Grace church in Durham, NC

Gene welcomed our guests and preached a sermon from 1 Pe 5:10-11 entitled, “The End of Suffering”

We shared communion together

We sang O Church Arise

Chris Deloglos invited us to attend a fundraising lunch for the Bolivia missions team and gave the benediction

Matthew Williams grew up attending KingsWay and joined the pastoral staff in 2009. God has blessed him and his wife, Aliza, with three rambunctious boys, Ethan, Micah, and Tyler. Matthew did his undergraduate work at the University of Richmond in chemistry and political science, spent a year at the Sovereign Grace Pastor’s College, and is nearly finished with his Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
