On Sunday, July 7, 2019, Josh preached the message, “When the Fullness of Time Had Come, God Sent Forth His Son”. See below for a few discussion questions for Community Group or personal study this week. To listen to other messages from this series, visit our Audio Resources page.
  1. Why do you think God waited so long to send His Son to earth? What does the concept of “the fullness of time” mean?
  2. Josh taught that it is important that we understand the significance of Jesus having been sent by God, as well as the significance that He was the Son of God. Talk through both of these points and explain why they are so important. Consider why Jesus needed to be both fully God and fully Man.
  3. What is an example from your life when you experienced the perfection of God’s timing? Despite this, why is it still so difficult to trust God’s plan?
  4. Is there anything in particular that you are waiting on? What practical things can you do on a daily basis to remind yourself of God’s faithfulness when it comes to the timing of His plans?
