Last Sunday Juan Ledon called us to worship by reading Isa 42:10-17

We sang Mighty to SaveBehold Our God, and Hosanna

We confessed our sins to the Lord and proclaimed God’s assurance of pardon in Jesus

We sang God Moves and listened to several prophetic words from church members

After welcoming our guests and receiving the offering, Matthew interviewed Rich & Anna Rogness who lead our Impact ministry for middle school students and their parents. All parents of middle & high school students are invited to a Parents’ Meeting on Sunday, August 18 from 12:30-1:30pm in the Seminar Room to learn about student ministry plans for 2013-2014.

Heather Volman read Isa 42:18-44:5 and Gene explained why we stand for the reading of God’s Word

Gene prayed for church members needing physical healing and financial provision

Gene preached a sermon, “God Reclaims His People”

We ended with an extended time of prayer for people to be filled with more of the Holy Spirit
