Here’s a quick review of our meeting last Sunday plus a few questions for Community Groups this week.

Josh called us to worship from Psalm 67:4-5

Juan and the band led us in singing Revelation Song

Juan gave a prayer of confession

We sang O Wondrous LoveGreat is Thy Faithfulness, and Christ is Risen

Josh explained why church membership is a result of the gospel, and we listened to a testimony about the power of church membership from one of our members, T.C., who is moving to Fredericksburg with his wife Patti for a new job with the Department of Defense.

Brian led us in praying for TC and Patti

Chris read Revelation 21:1-22:5

I preached a sermon entitled, Heaven on Earth, and closed the meeting with a benediction from Philippians 4

Community Group Discussion Questions

  1. What comes to your mind when you think about heaven?
  2. Do you think you’ll go to heaven after you die? Why or why not?
  3. What blessings do you most look forward to experiencing in heaven?
  4. How can you enjoy a taste of that blessing today?
