Here’s a quick review of the meeting last Sunday for those who were serving in KingsKids or unable to join us.

We learned a new song, Here for You, reminding us that we gather on Sundays to meet with God, not to practice a religious ritual

We sang I Stand Amazed

Matthew read Ps 121 and we sang All the Way My Savior Leads Me

Will & Julie Hagen each shared a spontaneous prophetic impression from the Lord

We sang As Long As You are Glorified

Chris Deloglos prayed a prayer from The Valley of Vision – Man’s Great End

We gave an offering to support the ministry of the gospel in our church

Matthew led us in praying for Afghanistan

We welcomed our guests and Gene explained the vision for the upcoming women’s ministry event

Mike Whitener read 1 Pe 1:6-12

Gene preached a sermon entitled, “Joy & Suffering”

We sang It Is Well With My Soul and Chris gave a benediction

Matthew Williams grew up attending KingsWay and joined the pastoral staff in 2009. God has blessed him and his wife, Aliza, with three rambunctious boys, Ethan, Micah, and Tyler. Matthew did his undergraduate work at the University of Richmond in chemistry and political science, spent a year at the Sovereign Grace Pastor’s College, and is nearly finished with his Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
