On Sunday, February 25th, guest pastor Joshua Earl preached the message “Why Do We Plant Churches” from Acts 11:9-30 as part of our 2018 International Missions WeekendBelow are a few discussion questions for Community Group or personal study this week. To listen to the message again, visit our Audio Resources page. To access the projection from the message, click here.

Discussion Questions:

1. Why do we plant churches around the world? How does church planting strengthen the body of Christ and transform communities?

2. Why is the local church the catalyst for evangelism around the world? Why do you think that God designed it this way? Biblically, what should the relationship between the local church and international missions look like?

3. Joshua taught that “churches that think globally act locally.” What does this mean?

4. What has been your experience and involvement in the past with missions work and/or church planting. Have you experienced any new insights since International Missions Weekend about how God may desire you to be involved?
