On Sunday, December 29, 2019, Matthew Williams led worship and Kevin Khoffie preached the message, “Sing the Word” as part of our current series, Sunday Matters from Colossians 3:16-17. Click here for projection from the message. Below are a few discussion questions for Community Group or personal study this week. To listen to this message again, click here.
Discussion Questions:
  1. Have you previously considered why we sing on a Sunday morning?
  2. Do you see the worship team as performers on Sunday morning?
  3. Do you sing on Sunday morning with active and deliberate participation?
  4. When you sing, are you aware that you are a part of reminding your brothers and sisters in Christ of the truth of who Jesus is?
  5. How have you been encouraged by the word of Christ when you’ve participated in corporate worship?
  6. Do you make a practice of listening to theologically rich, Christ-centered music?
