Many thanks to all of you who braved the winter weather to join us last Sunday! In case you were unable to get out, here’s a quick summary of the meeting.

We began by singing O Come All Ye Faithful and Angels We Have Heard on High

Matthew read Luke 2:14 and 1:79, explaining why the birth of Jesus was an invasion of peace into a world of conflict

We sang When Love Came Down and Sovereign

We declared the 10th Lord’s Day question and answer from the Heidelberg catechism

Chris Deloglos welcomed our guests

Stephanie Shanks read Ps 40

Josh Kruger preached a sermon on The Incarnation as part of our Christ in the Psalms series

We sang Emmanuel (Hallowed Manger Ground) and Hope Has Come as we gave our tithes and offerings to the Lord

Matthew explained the goal of our Christmas Eve service before giving the benediction.

Matthew Williams grew up attending KingsWay and joined the pastoral staff in 2009. God has blessed him and his wife, Aliza, with three rambunctious boys, Ethan, Micah, and Tyler. Matthew did his undergraduate work at the University of Richmond in chemistry and political science, spent a year at the Sovereign Grace Pastor’s College, and is nearly finished with his Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
