On Sunday, August 19, 2018, guest pastor Mickey Connolly preached a message from 2 Timothy 3:15-17 as a part of our current series, re:creation. Below are a few discussion questions for Community Group or personal study this week. To listen to the message again, visit our Audio Resources page.

Discussion Questions:

1. What did Mickey teach is the most important practice for our spiritual health and well being (as well as that of our family or local church)? Why is the faithful study of scripture so essential in the life of the believer?

2. How is our response to God’s word a response directly to Himself? How do you see God deeply identifying himself with his word?

3. Mickey taught that God’s word is authoritative. What does this mean? What effect does this have on your life?

4. What is your response to this message? Where do you see yourself when it comes to Bible study? A place where you need to start it up for the first time? Get back in a routine? Continue your practice in faith?
