After welcoming our guests, we heard a testimony from Quinton Cools. Quin became a member of Kingsway later that evening

Matthew read a prayer from The Valley of Vision

Matthew preached a sermon, “The Servant’s Story and Ours”

Shane Fernandez led us in singing A Debtor to Mercy Alone

We ended by inviting folks to come down front for prayer

Jeremy Howard led a responsive scripture reading from 1 Chronicles 16:23-36

We sang Open the Eyes of My Heart and Behold Our God

Matthew gave a prayer of confession and assurance

We sang Lead Me to the Cross and It Is Well with My Soul, interspersed with a spontaneous scripture reading from Doug Roberts and a prophetic word from Barb Powers

We welcomed our guests and gave our tithes and offerings to the Lord

Marybeth Haggard invited us to participate in a service project for the Donation Garden/Food Pantry immediately after the meeting

Bob Shanks read Isaiah 50:1-51:8

Gene encouraged the men to attend our upcoming Men’s Retreat and preached a sermon,

“The Servant’s Obedience”

We shared communion together

We sang Before the Throne of God Above

Josh Kruger gave a benediction and charge from Romans 16:25-27

Matthew Williams grew up attending KingsWay and joined the pastoral staff in 2009. God has blessed him and his wife, Aliza, with three rambunctious boys, Ethan, Micah, and Tyler. Matthew did his undergraduate work at the University of Richmond in chemistry and political science, spent a year at the Sovereign Grace Pastor’s College, and is nearly finished with his Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
