Yesterday, during our Sunday meeting, Josh led us in a time of prayer for the persecuted Church around the world. The prayer points that he used are below for your continued use, followed by a short video clip from Open Doors Ministries explaining the need.

Prayer points:

  • Pray for the physical, emotional, and spiritual protection of our brothers and sisters facing their persecutors; and for endurance in the midst of persecution.
  • Pray for persistent faith to follow Jesus Christ and proclaim His marvelous gospel; for grace to love Him deeper, and for His name to be exalted in these nations.
  • Pray for the governments of these countries; that God, in His sovereignty, will remove current regimes and raise up godly leaders, cabinets, and authorities.
  • Pray for Christians around the world who are not currently being persecuted; that we will be faithful to pray and seek ways to support our brothers and sisters in need.
