On Sunday, April 15, 2018, Tom Sturgeon shared the following Prayer of Praise to begin our meeting. We hope that his words continue to inspire your hearts to worship this week.

Heavenly Father, we come to you this morning to bring praise to your glorious name. We boldly come to you entering your gates with thanksgiving and your courts with praise! We give thanks to you and bless your name.

Father, you alone are good, your steadfast love endures forever and your faithfulness to all generations. Lord you are great and greatly to be praised. We rejoice in your good and gracious gifts to us. For the gift of life you have given to us this day we praise you. For your grace that empowers us through your Holy Spirit we praise you.

We ascribe to you oh Lord glory and strength! We come before you with an offering of praise this morning. May it be as incense to your ears. We worship you in the splendor of holiness and we tremble before you with the whole of the earth. You who made the heavens and the earth, who set the stars in their courses and gave the seas their boundary, we praise you O Lord!

You who laid the foundation of the earth and determined its measurements, we praise you O Lord. For it is you that commands the morning and has caused the dawn to know its place, it is you who determined when the sun should set and it is you who placed the planets in their orbits. O Lord our Lord how majestic is your name. O Lord our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth.

Who are we that you are mindful of us? Yet you have given us dominion over the work of your hands, you have put all things under our feet and you have called us by name.

We bless you O Lord and praise your holy name. We bless you and will not forget your mercy to us. You pardon our iniquities; You heal our diseases; You redeem our lives from the pit; You crown us with lovingkindness and compassion; You satisfy our souls. Together we praise you this morning Lord that you have sent your one and only Son so that we can be reconciled to you.

To you alone belongs glory, honor and praise. We love you Lord and we extol your name above all names. Amen.
