On Sunday, August 27, 2017, Stephen Deloglos shared the following Prayer of Praise to begin our meeting. We hope that his words continue to inspire your hearts to worship this week.

Thy name is excellent,
Thy glory high,
Thy compassion unfailing,
Thy condescension wonderful,
Thy mercy tender.

Dear Father,
We come to you with Awe at your glory,
With astonishment at your grace,
A grace never ceasing overflowing with your love.

We are in amazement at the fact that we can sin time after time and your love will never cease for us.
We are humbled that neither death nor life,
nor angels nor rulers,
nor things present nor things to come,
nor powers, 39
nor height nor depth,
nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We were dead in our sins, rebelling against you, but you did not forsake us.
You gave your one and only begotten son so we could be called Yours.
You love us even though our self centered, wicked hearts hung your son on the cross.

Truly you are greater then we can imagine!
You are more beautiful then we can fathom!

You are so great you can number the grains of sand.
You know each and every star by name.
You’ve know each and every one of us since before the earth was formed.

You are always faithful to convict our hearts of sin to help us strive to grow closer to you.
Out of your immense love for us you have allowed us to call you abba father.

You truly are superior to all.
You truly are wiser than all.
You truly are more powerful than anything our wicked hearts can devise.

You are a good good Father.

We wholeheartedly thank you for all of our blessings that we do not deserve,
but out of your great love you gladly lavish upon us.

We are in awe of you.

In your precious Son’s name,
