On Sunday, October 7, 2018, Kevin Khoffie shared the following Prayer of Praise to begin our meeting. We hope that his words continue to inspire your hearts to worship this week.

A Prayer of Praise to the Most High God!

Almighty and everlasting Father, we are before your throne to declare that you are good and you are faithful! We acknowledge your being and who you are: the most Blessed and most Glorious, the Ancient of Days!

We call out to you because you are worthy of all praise! We obey your command to praise you because you created us to do so. We offer to you a sacrifice of praise because no one else and no other god deserves it more. Our hearts burst forth with love and adoration for you because you first loved us! We proclaim that your goodness is immeasurable, abundant, and overflowing towards us!

We praise you, O Lord, for your holiness and justice!
We praise you, O Lord, for your grace and mercy!
We praise you, O Lord, for your goodness!
We praise you, O Lord, for your kindness and salvation!

We join the heavenly host to say, “praise be to the Lamb who sits on the throne forever more!” In the congregation of the redeemed, we praise and magnify your name! You have saved us and redeemed us from your wrath through your son Jesus Christ, and so we thank you and exalt you for who you are! All creation praises you! The sun, moon, and stars declare your majesty! The angels and heavenly host espouse your might! From the rising of the sun to its setting, your name will be praised forever and ever, O Lord! Amen!
