On Sunday, June 24, Kevin Khoffie prayed a Prayer of Confession as part of our Sunday Meeting. The text of his prayer is below. We hope that his words continue to inspire and convict you this week.

Eternal and merciful God, we bow our heads and hearts before you

And we confess that we have too often forgotten that we belong to you
You have loved us with a love beyond our understanding,

You have kept your covenant with us, and you have set us on paths of righteousness through your son Jesus Christ

We have often carried on with our lives as though there is no God

And because of that, we have fallen short of being a credible witness to You

We have not trusted you in everything as we should
We have strayed and wandered from your way, sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, through what we have done and what we have left undone

For all these things, we ask your forgiveness, and for the blood of Christ to cleanse us from all unrighteousness

We ask for your strength to help us

And remind us to be who You would have us to be

Regardless of what we are doing or who we are with
Please grant us the grace to die daily to sin
To rise daily to new life in Christ

And to trust wholly in the redemptive power of HIs work on the cross

Thank you for saving and forgiving us

We love you Lord!
