Here in the Richmond area, there are many worthwhile organizations which serve the surrounding community. One such organization that we have highlighted in the past is the Pregnancy Resource Center of the Richmond Metro Area (PRC). Julie Hagen is actively involved in the PRC and has some important information to share below in regard to upcoming volunteer training dates. Take some time to look over her message and consider if this may be an area in which you are called to serve.

I am blessed to be on staff at a Christian ministry in Richmond called The Pregnancy Resource Center.  We are committed to providing compassionate care to men and women unprepared for pregnancy by offering resources and practical assistance for life-affirming choices.  We are made up of 10 staff members and 47 current volunteers.  We could not make it without our wonderful volunteers.

We offer a tour and information gathering a couple of times a year here at the PRC.  If you have ever felt compelled to learn more about this ministry, please consider joining us on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 7-8:30pm for one of these meetings.  We are located at 1510 Willow Lawn Drive, Richmond 23230.

If you plan to join us, please RSVP by August 3rd to Rebecca Jones at 804-673-2020 or rjones@prcrichmond.org.  You can also invite your friends to come with you!

Serena joined the office staff team in December of 2015. Originally from Aurora, Colorado, Serena began attending KingsWay when she moved to Midlothian in 2012 - immediately becoming drawn in to the vibrant and diverse community. She received her undergrad degree in Communications and Journalism and is pursuing graduate work in Counseling and Discipleship. Serena works full-time in the non-profit sector and serves on the board of the Bolivia Missions Foundation.
