I want the next generation at KingsWay to find their soul’s satisfaction in God. As FF Bruce wrote, “The soul’s deepest thirst is for God Himself, who has made us so that we can never be satisfied without Him.” Our children’s ministry, King’sKids, helps children do just that.

The mission of King’sKids is to, “help children enjoy a growing relationship with God by loving Him, His Word, and people.”

Over the past several years, God has grown my heart and capacity for working with the next generation ministries at KingsWay. I have a growing desire to serve our high school and middle school ministries, Frontline and Impact.

My prayer is that through prayer and planning, God will allow us to kick off our fall semester with Frontline and Impact with regular worship, teaching, and fellowship for our young people. Currently we have a couple of small groups per month, but I see God preparing us for more in the fall!

It was announced Sunday to the King’sKids ministry that I will be transitioning out of working with the children’s ministry. My job will be split into two roles, one a ministry directorship role, and the other an administrative role.

Starting February 1st, Autumn Robertson will be taking on the role of King’sKids Administrator, providing primary support to volunteers throughout the year and managing the day-to-day operations of King’sKids throughout the year.

After much prayer and consideration, Sara Campbell has agreed to be the King’sKids Director. She will be involved in planning any training events and meetings and will interface with volunteers throughout the year to provide direction and support for Autumn.

Several months ago I started praying about where God would be leading me and leading King’sKids in this new season of ministry. He has been faithful to equip me for every good work (Ephesians 2:10) and has also raised up two Godly women to lead our children’s ministry.

I see God doing new and wonderful things at KingsWay. I’m blessed to be a part of this deep community of Bible-believing, spirit-filled, genuine Jesus-followers. Soli Deo Gloria – To God Alone Be the Glory!
