Over the next few months, we’re taking a close look at how we communicate with one another. Good communication is a real art and requires regular attention in any relationship. Our goal is simple: never stop growing in clear, consistent, and timely communication.

One of our main communication tools is Church Community Builder (CCB). Think of CCB like the kitchen in your home. It’s the place you go find out what’s going on with everyone else in the family. Here are just a few of the benefits to participating in our online community.

  • Learn about upcoming events by joining specific groups like FrontlineYoung Adults, or Women’s Ministry
  • Communicate directly with group leaders and members across the church
  • Quickly access contact information for anyone at Kingsway
  • Customize your calendar of event so you receive the event notifications you need

Many of you have enjoyed CCB since we debuted the site last year. Others have reported lingering challenges, including questions about how to log-in or access various program features. If you’re in the second group, then I have good news for you! For the next two Sundays (July 7 & July 14), we’re staffing a CCB help desk in the foyer. Folks who stop by can also enter a raffle including gift cards to Tropical Smoothie, Starbucks, and other area restaurants.

Be sure to stop by and learn how you can get connected to our online community.

Matthew Williams grew up attending KingsWay and joined the pastoral staff in 2009. God has blessed him and his wife, Aliza, with three rambunctious boys, Ethan, Micah, and Tyler. Matthew did his undergraduate work at the University of Richmond in chemistry and political science, spent a year at the Sovereign Grace Pastor’s College, and is nearly finished with his Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
